Color SMS is a next-generation messaging solution; it brings to life plain old text messaging (SMS) by enriching it with thematic content in context to the message, with a combination of imagery and thematic voice clips. It leverages the simplicity of composing a text SMS without having to understand the MMS recording and editing features on a handset. It enables a user to write the usual text message (SMS) and then converts it into an MMS or a picture message before sending it to the recipient. The color SMS service enriches the message based on templates.
Solution Description
The conversion of SMS to MMS/picture message is done by analyzing the keywords in the text message and encoding it in a picture format. Options including image background, music or contextual icons are then added as per the keyword or by the sender’s choice. The application intuitively analyses the recipient’s handset and service capability prior to sending the created color SMS in an MMS format. If the handset is not MMS-capable and the subscriber does not have a GPRS/EDGE connection, a picture SMS is delivered instead, which can be viewed on the normal handset as well. Alternatively, the solution can send out a URL to the recipient to view the color SMS on the internet.
Benefits to Subscribers
Provides a rich messaging medium and effortless message enrichment options. Provides transparency of charging principle. The sender is only charged for messages where the recipient’s handset and subscription support MMS service. Enables non MMS-complaint Customers (handset and services) to send MMS message. Exciting lifestyle and style communication toll for mobile consumers
Benefits to Operator
Drives MMS messaging off take, transactions and consequent revenues in the consumer base. Additional revenue sources from music and image content templates. Significant revenue opportunity from paid advertising, enabling marketers to communicate a marketing message with the ability to communicate an audio-visual clip. New revenue streams from existing infrastructure and consumer base. Additional avenue to monetize mobile content. Product leader and effective differentiation in the market place

Roamware’s Calling Line Identification (CLI) Delivery Service assures point-to-point delivery of CLI and other call-related information for mobile-originated calls. Such data is often degraded while a call is connected over international trunks, and can interfere with the working of services that depend on CLI and other parameters to work seamlessly.
A particularly relevant example is that of roamers trying to access their voicemails when roaming. When such users call their voicemail to retrieve messages, CLI information may be stripped off during the call setup process and consequently they are asked to enter their mailbox number, and a verification code (PIN) which may not be handily available. Consequently, users either drop the calls or request assistance from the operator helpdesk to reset their voicemail operators hosting such roamers, besides causing a below-par roaming experience!
Roamware’s CLI Delivery solution, built on the Roamware SDS platform, enables mobile operators to provide seamless access to roaming services including voicemail (deposit and retrieval).
Features:
CLI Delivery for several roaming scenarios:
_Inbound roamer calling voicemail
_Inbound roamer calling other mobile phones
_Calls received by outbound roamers
Managed service model
Solution through Belgacom
Usage record generation
Different service control through black lists
High availability and load sharing
Activity reporting
Benefits to Operator:
Increased voicemail call completion for inbound roamers and outbound roamers and outbound roamers
Competitive differentiator
Reduces operation costs by reduced Customer care complaints
Benefits to Subscriber:
Seamless access to voice mails and Customer care
Better user experience as roamers are presented with CLI on mobile terminated calls
Users are not required to remember their mailbox PIN to access voice mails

Mobile phone communication has rapidly from direct, real-time voice interaction to a suite of non-voice and indirect means of wireless communication, including short Message Service (SMS), Multimedia Message Service (MMS) and instant Messaging (IM). However, many people are not comfortable with these methods and prefer to use their handsets only for direct, spoken communication. A new feature, Voice SMS, files the gap between voice and indirect/non-voice communication by combining today’s newest indirect interaction with the advantages of speech.
Voice SMS is, simply put, the ability to leave a voice message for someone without ringing their handset. It’s similar to SMS and MMS in that it involves one-way communication. It’s similar to voicemail in that a voice message is sent for someone to hear when they want to access it, but it’s different in that it’s an intentional voice message. Rather than being a byproduct of not being able to communicate directly, Voice SMS adds a new dimension to mobile phone communications
Why and when would you want to leave a voice message for someone without ringing their phone? When would you want to use this service?
You need to leave someone a message, but it’s the middle of the night.
You don’t have time to have a conversation, but need to tell some something immediately.
The person you need to reach is in a meeting, at the movies of is otherwise unavailable
You want to broadcast brief messages to a wide audience, such as within a business.
Why, would you prefer to send a voice message rather than a text message? After all, SMS is hugely popular in most of t

A Powerful Marketing Tool
Background
Web Corporation has played a vital role in supporting and developing the society by sponsoring different social functions all over the UAE for the past decades. Hence, this concept was empowered when Web Corporation announced the sponsoring of the UAE football league for three years (2005 – 2008). Accordingly, this resulted in more publicity for Web Corporation as well as for the new introduced services such as Weyak, and mobile TV service.
Suggestion
The suggestion in my mind may be considered as a marketing tool, especially, in the view of existence of market competition. It has been noticed that Web Corporation became more creative in its advertisement and marketing materials and should continue in the same manner.
As the new season 2007/08 of UAE football league will commence on September 28, 2007 and since this may be the last season that Web Corporation will have the opportunity to sponsor the league, (which I personally feel that Web Corporation has to continue with the sponsorship for more years) an opportunity rises to celebrate our successful sponsorship with the UAE Football Association and close relationship with UAE football fans in more creative way.
One unique way to achieve this is by covering the balls on top of Web Corporation buildings with covers that resemble a real football in the beginning of the new season. Photo samples for Web Corporation buildings are attached herewith to have an overview of what it could look like.
Objective
By adapting the new advertising method Web Corporation will pass two types of messages:
Obvious message:
The obvious message will highlight Web Corporation commitment and contribution to enhance the sports and sportspersons in the UAE to the public. Also, it will be attractive to our football fans in the UAE, most of them are of the young generation in UAE and our future customers.
Hidden message:
The hidden message behind this advertising will be passed to our competitor in the UAE market “du”. This will be strong statement from Web Corporation to du stating that the ball is in our court and we are controlling and leading the telecommunication market in the UAE
Web Corporation has to use this opportunity and act speedily and prove that we have obligation to our society that we have to meet and in the same time we send clear message to our competitor that we are choice no. one in the UAE market.
Final Thoughts
• The above idea can be enhanced by adding TV commercial and make the use of our sponsorship of player no. 1 in UAE . Where the TV advertisement will show climbing Corporation Headquarter building and shoot the huge ball that will circulate all over Web Corporation buildings in all UAE. This will clearly state that we have full coverage in our Network and we exist all over the UAE.
• Also, Web Corporation may enter the Guinness World Records Book by having the biggest football on top of the building. Also, the same concept can by applied to a Golf ball by sponsorship Golf Championship in the future.
• If du had the similar structure like that of Web Corporation buildings, it will not let go this opportunity without having made any statement to declare to the public in general and Web Corporation in particular.

Every father or mother is worried about their young ones about their movements. The parents can monitor in the house what they are doing. Outside the house they have no track of their movement.
The GPS technology canbe used to track their movements and send SMS/Email to their parents.
1. The GPS system can be used to control the Teen Drivers crossing the speed limit or missed their way to back home.
2.This technology can be used to alert the police to track the teens from being victims of crime.

As Web Corporation responsibility for all Voice services like DEL, ISDN etc is only up to DP or our MDF in a high raised building the pair number of the particular Telephone connection is becoming very critical.
The customer need to extend these cable pairs ( connections ) to the user location or up to the end point .
Most of case, during the installation visit of our Engineers / technician, there may not be the technical / responsible person from customer side.
My suggestion is provide window / site to get the partial LOCNET details relevant for the customers technical person only.
This can be done by enhancing our B2B platform or CBCM .
1. More transparency to Customer, which will enable to complete their internal connectivity.
2. Can avoid unnecessary repeated Technician visit and this will in fact give more Job satisfaction.
3. Increase customer loyalty & Productivity increase
4. Dead time of the service can be considerably reduced. Now so many cases the service provided up to DP and customers are billed without actual use of the connectivity.
5. An additional tool to beet competition

"With your spirit open and unconstricted, look at things from a high point of view."-Miyamato Musashi
•We wrap up another full year of our lives and start to lift our gaze to the next one. One of the traditions I really enjoy this time of year are the 'year in review' retrospectives you see on TV, in the newspapers, and online.
•Let us decide that this year I would do my own personal look back at 2007. Maybe you'd like to try it too! I've written below twelve ideas for exploration in our personal "year in review". Choose those that resonate with you. Perhaps write your answers in a journal, create a collage or scrapbook. Talk about them with your friends and family. And, most importantly, explore them in celebration (not judgment) of a rich and meaningful year!
•We love looking back at the last 12 months and remembering. As well as noticing what I forgot! (Oh, that happened this year?!). It seems such a great way to look at things in perspective. In the moment this thing or that happens, it may seem overly important or completely insignificant. But, with the passage of time and other events, the year takes shape. Some events takes on significance while others turn out to be no big deal (in spite, sometimes, of our reaction in the moment!). It's our history in the making.
